Centre to get on site sports therapist
Members of a Sheffield sports centre are set to have the services of a specialist therapist on site to treat injuries.
Concord Sports Centre is installing a new sports therapy room and a highly qualified physiotherapist will provide treatment for members’ aches and pains. The service is also available to non-members and the general public.
Emma Lindop, health and fitness manager at the Sheffield International Venues-managed sports centre, said: “We are making provision for a sports therapy room and recruiting a specialist to provide our members and centre users with an additional option.
“It is important that people who use the facilities here enjoy a full, all-encompassing service and the treatment of sports injuries is a part of that.”
The Shiregreen venue has more than 2,500 regular Fitness Unlimited members.
