SIV snow and ice disruptions

A number of facilities operated by Sheffield International Venues’ (SIV) have been affected by the snow.

Due to the adverse weather conditions, Concord Sports Centre is closed today (Tuesday, January 5). The centre, on Shiregreen Lane, is expected to open as normal tomorrow morning.

Beauchief, Tinsley Park, Birley Wood and Tapton Park golf courses are closed for the foreseeable future. The clubhouses can be opened for private functions, meetings, and conferences.

The English Institute of Sport – Sheffield (EIS Sheffield) is currently open as normal but some club activities have already been cancelled for today. Members of the public are advised to contact the centre or club representative for details of cancellations before travel.

Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, iceSheffield, Hillsborough Leisure Centre and Don Valley Stadium are currently unaffected, however, members of the public are advised to contact the venues or club representatives before travelling. People who cannot make their bookings are advised to contact the venue.
