About Me Hi I'm Dave Birds and have been in the fitness industry now for 6 years. Originally weighing over 26 stone, I lost weight and decided to help others. My career in the industry has had many highs, including several awards and accreditations from the industry, Sheffield City Council and the NHS. My proudest moments was being a finalist in the Pride Of Britain Awards, and a finalist for the Future of Flame award a national industry recognition. I was also short listed to train athletes in the Beijing 2008 Olympic games. When I have time I enjoy training in the gym, and love to play badminton and racquet ball. I am a member of Reps and the BACR.
Specialist Area of Exercise I have been fortunate to personal train professional sportsman and athletes, although I really enjoy training with people for rehabilitation purposes, who are suffering with medical conditions. I also enjoy working with people who need some direction and motivation for weight loss.
Availability Its often best to check with me personally for my availability as I do work on many projects and often at other venues.

About Me After a lifelong interest in sports and fitness I decided on a career as a Personal Trainer. With Four years in the industry I’ve gained experience training and motivating a wide variety of people, with a variety of goals such as weight loss, muscle toning, injury recovery or simply guidance.
I pride myself on being a great motivator, whist being friendly and approachable. I believe that you don’t have to be athletically gifted or live in the gym. With some small life changes and the drive to succeed, you can quickly become healthier, stronger and fitter in a short amount of time.
Specialist Area of Exercise Weight training to gain muscle or tone up. Cardio training for weight loss and improving stamina. Healthy eating ideas. Stomach and core area toning. Martial Arts for self defence and fitness. Stretching and improving flexibility.
Availability Monday to Thursday 12pm-6pm & Weekends for training sessions at Concord Sports Centre or Hillsborough Leisure Centre
